Reckon Support

Your week, the verdict.

Reckon is a habit tracker that doesn't pretend.

What it does.

Set up to 10 daily or weekly goals. Cardio. Protein. Gym. Whatever you actually want to track. Each day is one square in your week grid.

Green if done. Red if missed. Orange if today's still open. The grid sits on your home screen via a widget. Always visible. Always honest.

Every evening, Reckon names exactly what you missed. No praise. No celebration. Just the verdict.

What it doesn't do.

No streaks.

No social features. No leaderboards. No achievements.

No AI coach. No subscriptions. No ads.

No data collected. Ever.

Frequently asked questions.

How do I add a goal?

From the main screen, tap the "Add goal" card. Give it a name, pick an icon, choose Daily or Weekly Quota, and tap Add. You can also add goals from the Goals screen.

What's the difference between Daily and Weekly Quota goals?

Daily goals expect you to do them every day. Each day is a separate square; miss a day and that day is red forever. Weekly Quota goals expect a certain number of completions per week (e.g. 3 gym sessions per week). The column header shows green if you hit the quota, red if not.

When does Reckon notify me?

Twice per day. A midday nudge at a time you choose in Settings. An evening reckoning shortly after your daily deadline. The reckoning names what you missed, or acknowledges if you hit everything.

Why is my widget the wrong theme?

Reckon's widget has its own theme setting, independent of your iPhone's system theme. Long-press the widget, tap Edit Widget, then choose System, Light, or Dark.

Can I customize the colors?

Settings → Appearance → Color Palette. Pick a built-in palette, edit any palette's individual colors, or create your own from scratch.

Why don't you show streaks?

Streaks turn habit tracking into a video game. Reckon shows you reality: what you did and what you didn't. A streak says "look how long you've been good." Reckon says "what about today?"

Can I have more than 10 goals?

No. Ten is the cap by design. If you can't actually do ten things consistently, an eleventh won't help.

Does Reckon sync between my devices?

Not in v1. All data is local to a single device. iCloud sync is something we might add later.

What iOS version do I need?

iOS 17.0 or later. iPhone only.
