What data Reckon collects.
None.
Reckon does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. No accounts. No sign-in. No email address required. The name you enter during onboarding is stored only on your device.
No analytics. No crash reporting. No telemetry. No third-party SDKs. No tracking. No cookies. No advertising identifiers.
All your goals, daily completions, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
What Reckon stores on your device.
- Goals you create (name, type, icon, weekly target if applicable)
- Daily completion records
- Your name (from onboarding, used only in the greeting)
- Your preferences (deadline time, notifications, color palette, theme)
This data never leaves your device. Not synced to iCloud, not backed up to any third-party server, not visible to anyone but you.
Notifications.
Reckon uses Apple's local notification framework to schedule notifications on your device. All notification content is generated on-device based on your goal progress. Nothing is sent to or processed by any external server, including Apple's push notification service.
How to delete your data.
Delete the Reckon app from your iPhone. All goal history, settings, name, and preferences are immediately and permanently removed along with the app. There is no server-side data to delete because nothing was ever sent off your device.
Children's privacy.
Reckon is rated 12+ on the App Store. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all.
Changes to this policy.
If Reckon's privacy practices ever change (for example, if optional iCloud sync is added in a future version), this policy will be updated and the date at the top of this page will reflect the change.
